SHORT-TERM REHAB

Short-Term Rehab

Focused Care for a Faster Recovery

Short-term rehab is a focused, temporary program designed to help individuals recover from surgery, injury, or illness. It offers personalized therapy and care, helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, so they can return home as quickly and safely as possible.

Therapies and Services Offered for Short-Term Rehab :

Physical Therapy:

Our physical therapy services are designed to help individuals regain strength, mobility, and function after an injury, surgery, or illness. Through personalized treatment plans, we focus on improving movement, reducing pain, and promoting overall wellness. Whether it’s through exercises, manual therapy, or specialized equipment, our goal is to support a safe and effective recovery, helping patients get back to their daily activities with confidence.

Occupational Therapy:

Occupational therapy (OT) services focus on helping individuals regain the skills needed for daily living and work after injury, illness, or surgery. OT practitioners provide personalized therapy to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities. Whether it’s learning to dress, cook, or manage tasks at home or work, OT is all about empowering individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible. The goal is to support each person in adapting to their environment, regaining function, and improving their quality of life.

Speech Therapy:

Our speech therapy services are designed to help individuals improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills. Whether recovering from a stroke, dealing with a neurological condition, or facing speech challenges, our licensed speech therapists work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans. We focus on improving speech clarity, language comprehension, vocal strength, and safe swallowing techniques, helping individuals regain confidence and enhance their quality of life.

In addition to therapy aimed at restoring mobility and independence, Glenwood Retirement Village Short-Term Rehab offers 24-hour nursing care to support proper recovery and healing.
