RN Clinical ManagerThe primary purpose of your job position is to plan resident care and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned neighborhood. The clinical manager is responsible to coordinate and collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident. The coordination of care and supervision of staff must be in accordance with current standards of practice and federal and state regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Charge NurseThe Charge Nurse provides professional nursing care consistent with an individual philosophy in accordance with the philosophy, policy, and procedures of the Glenwood Village Care Center and the standards of gerontological nursing practice. The Charge Nurse is charged with the responsibility to act in the capacity of leadership on a unit under the direction of the Director of Health Care. The charge nurse is responsible for the health care needs of the residents and for the supervision or monitoring of the nursing assistants on his / her unit. Blood Exposure Risk Category is Category I.
Nursing AssistantThe NA/R is responsible for assisting the residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) through daily nursing care as described in each resident’s plan of care.
The NA/R carries out simple treatment procedures, reports to and follows the instructions of the charge nurse. The NA/R works closely with the activities department, volunteers, housekeeping and all other ancillary departments.NA/R’s frequently have contact with the resident’s family, members.
