Charge NurseThe Charge Nurse provides professional nursing care consistent with an individual philosophy in accordance with the philosophy, policy, and procedures of the Glenwood Village Care Center and the standards of gerontological nursing practice. The Charge Nurse is charged with the responsibility to act in the capacity of leadership on a unit under the direction of the Director of Health Care. The charge nurse is responsible for the health care needs of the residents and for the supervision or monitoring of the nursing assistants on his / her unit. Blood Exposure Risk Category is Category I.
Nursing AssistantsThe NA/R is responsible for assisting the residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) through daily nursing care as described in each resident’s plan of care. The NA/R carries out simple treatment procedures, reports to and follows the instructions of the charge nurse. The NA/R works closely with the activities department, volunteers, housekeeping and all other ancillary departments. NA/R’s frequently have contact with the resident’s family, members.

RN MDS CoordinatorThe primary purpose of your job position is to conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment in accordance with the state and federal requirements and the policies and goals of this facility. The RN MDS Coordinator is also responsible for acting as the Medicare nurse for our facility.
The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and effective manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as my be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is in place at all times.
